The end of the Yamabushi trail at the temple where they started a week ago. They were not allowed to wash for a week but weren't as dirty as you'd expect because it rained while they were out. There was also fasting and a smoke initiation and hiking through mountain streams during that week. Their jikatabi (white cotton sock like shoe with separated toe) and the.waraji (straw protective sandal) worn together by most of the yamabushi for the week. Some wore sneakers.
