Famous 10 m sea wall which was meant to protect the city from Tsunamis. (Utube video shows the wave cresting over the wall) Mr Eiichi Miura 75 outside his home built a few years ago up on rocks for protection. Water didn't enter the house where he lives with his son although the town was completely destroyed. Miura stayed in his house and survived.
